[02:33] <rho> traditionally, september was the month when newbies would appear on usenet being generally clueless, as they went to university and hit the internet for the first time. after a month it owuld die down and sanity would return. in september '93, AOL happened, and it never did die down. that was the september that never ended. it's a fair way past september 3000th, 1993 now
