hmm. that turned out not to be neccesary.
the problem was it was being all flakey.
so, i stuck all the commands (perl /home etc.) into a batch file with a list of all 25 of them, then called the cronjob on that.
For a while, that didn't seem to be working either, but then i gave it an interpreter (bash /home/crschmidt) and that worked okay.
So, I'm hoping things go okay. I'll know in a couple hours ;)
