Jan. 2nd, 2005

Welcome to 2005, everyone. I hope that everyone's celebrations of the new year were as enjoyable as mine.

The Commune held a party. It was good. We had a total of 10 people show up: [livejournal.com profile] miss_geek and son, [livejournal.com profile] floydwilliams and anoather person with an LJ that I don't know the LJ username of, [livejournal.com profile] you_had_time and 6 year old sister, [livejournal.com profile] neogeek0101, [livejournal.com profile] zoemonster, [livejournal.com profile] kingnixon, and [livejournal.com profile] chemicallace. Alcohol was consumed, hugs were shared, and most woke up with a slightly more painful heads than was really wanted.

Jesse made us all wonderful omlettes, and food in general was just wonderful. Meeting more new people (Jesse and Season and Sarah's sister) was also nice.

I didn't get enough sleep, but I did have a good relaxing day: Jess collapsed, and Jay had the kids, so I mostly just played San Andreas.

I'm totally exhausted now. Dan and kristna are watching some movie. I'm going to go to bed, and most likely quickly to sleep.

Happy new year, again.

As part of my New Years resolution to do better at keeping in touch with my family, I called them all last night and wished them a happy New Year. In addition to that, I called everyone else in my cell phone's address book and wished them the same. This procedure led me to the conclusion that I have far too few addresses and phone numbers in my address book.

Since I finally changed my cell phone number, you can all have the new one: if you have a 217 number for me, update it.

If you want my address, please drop an email to crschmidt@crschmidt.net: I don't post it public due to the fact that I live with small, defenseless children. (Although sometimes with the way Alicia kicks, you wouldn't know it.)

I've never done one of these before, mostly because I never had the organizational skills that they would have helped. However, now that I'm working on this whole "becoming an adult" thing, I'm going to ask some random questions here. Results are viewable to me only, so don't worry about your information getting out (unless someone gets access to my phone or my mac, neither of which is likely. Other than small children.)

I did throw in some questions about my journal in general. Please do answer them if you're so inclined. Also, if I have no idea who you are, a name somewhere would be nice. :)
