mmm. office.
Mar. 21st, 2006 01:51 pmmmm. office space.
Jenn moved out Sunday, so we moved the girls bunk beds upstairs last night, and moved my desk into the room that used to be the girls. It's called a 'bedroom', but it's really not: it's big enough to put a queen bed in, kind of, and has no closets. It's much better suited to being an office space than anything else.
So now, for the first time in months, I am in a room that right now is only my limited desk stuff (most of it is still upstairs) and a comforter -- no crap on the floor. No stuff hanging behind me that people need to get to. Nothing.
It's a very nice feeling.
Also, another benefit I didn't think of: there's finally a computer in a room the girls have access to. This means that I can get Alicia to do things on here, and set up on a chair in here to watch her. She hasn't had much experience with using the internet for school work, or with typing, and it's getting to the point where I've been trying to figure out how I was going to set one up for her, but this is pretty perfect. I remember being 12 years old ish and sitting behind my dad watching him do quicken and stuff. Having her be able to print homework will also be nice.
babble babble. office so nice.
