Trimming the Shrubs

The front yard of the house had gotten totally insane. This afternoon, I took out a huge chunk of them -- something along the lines of 20-30 feet of root system in total -- with a shovel and a pair of hedge clippers. For the first time this summer, you can actually see through our fence.
