The company-wide source code infrastructure for my employer is currently unavailable.
Based on the monitoring our group runs (because although we don't maintain source control, we have no evidence anyone ever monitors such things), it's been down for 6 hours.
I contacted the IT Service Desk, who then asked me how many people were affected by a company-wide outage of our source control.
I just... don't understand.
(Yes, it's 8am on a Saturday. And I wanted to check on my freaking builds that I had set up to kick off for the weekend. I didn't realize that what I expected to be a 10 minute checkin would become another case of the massive stupidity I deal with on a day to day basis; usually weekends are the times when things *aren't* as broken.)
