Well. some things off my chest.

1. Physics final is over with. I flunked it (48/100) but there's nothing I can do about it now. I just need to wait for the grade and see if I flunked the class or not.

2. Brad finally got back to me about the job. The paperwork is taken care of; I am gainfully employed for next year.

3. I am starting to be packed. Stuff is getting into creates, and things are starting to empty out.

4. Mark is back online more, which means Plogs.net is moving again. We have S2, we have a new color scheme (Envy), and we're working on moving to CVS. This is all very good. Granted, we have not enough business yet, but this is something that I'm hoping to work to change when I get home.

5. I got up the guts to call Geneva. They have someone else that might be working, but Mary Kay told me to get in touch with them on Monday when I get back. I'll probably just go by - no way they can say no to my cute face, right? :)

6. Only two more finals. EALC 150 in an hour, and CS231 tomorrow at 8am. Neither of which I am particularly worried about. Although I really should go to sleep before 5am this morning. I've done a lot of studying for EALC, and I feel fairly confident about the stuff from the second half of the semester.

7. I connected with one of my friends last night. I feel like next year when I come back, things will be different, but they won't be worse. I'm going to have a different set of friends, and that will be good for me. Hopefully I will be rooming with [livejournal.com profile] ndrumm (look, another journal I created that probably won't get used!), barring any stupidity from housing.

8. I get to see Erin and Erin and people when I go home. We will paint the town red and make this a good summer.

So, although there's a lot going on right now that sucks (like flunking finals, leaving friends behind, saying goodbye, so on), there's a lot that's good too. Friends like [livejournal.com profile] littledownpour, [livejournal.com profile] wyvernbitch, [livejournal.com profile] musicbox1983 aren't going away, even if things do change, and that's a nice thing for me. And by going home, I'll get to see people like [livejournal.com profile] luxtiger, [livejournal.com profile] fracturedfaerie, [livejournal.com profile] pie_is_good... and that's good too. Next semester I'll have a job. This summer hoepfully I can find a job. And hopefully I can take time to enjoy it.

Hm. I just opened a run box to type in a URL and totally forgot what I was going to go to. OH! Pictures. I took 80 yesterday. Lots of pictures. Some of them are crap, but I like some of them. I also took 20 more last night while sergio/meg were playing SNES. I'll upload those tonight.

40 minutes til my final. Wish me luck!

I gradudated cum laude from undergrad. Having said that, I nearly failed Physics and quite honestly would have, but the professor, when I went to see him about my grade and he showed it to me, said I had a D for the class. Now, having seen my grade firsthand, I can assure you I didn't really get a D. But he didn't have the heart to fail me (especially since I had paid for a tutor the whole semester), but still. I've come to believe that most people fail physics. It's a fact of life. ;)

hey i don't usually comment on journals of people that i don't know but i was reading the community journal ljcodes and i saw that you commented and said that you have a lot of codes that you're willing to give away...i was wondering if i could maybe have a code because i really want to make a new journal and nobody has a code that they can give me and that would just be absolutely amazing if you could give me one..if you don't want to that's totally understandable because you have no idea who i am, but if you are willing to give me a code, my email is xoswtmandyox@aol.com
thanx,
amanda

Email me. Explain why you want a new journal, and explain to me why you aren't able to pay the $5 US that it costs to pay for a journal (and get three new codes to give out).

Use proper English and grammar (this includes capitalization).

Email address is crschmidt@livejournal.com. I'll be waiting.

I'm really NOT against handing out codes. However, I feel that the internet is destroying the English Language, and I'm all for changing that as much as I can. Thus I attempt to help people when they can be helped.

Then again, it's an AOLer.

Ah, isn't being an elitist fun?

Hee hee.... I despise aol and hate the fact that I'm being forced to use it during the summer. Boo, AOL, boo.

I took a look at her LJ. Possibly she wants a new one because the colors have started to hurt her eyes and her eyes are so damaged that they can't focus long enough to change the layout? Or perhaps, because she has one of the most convoluted username I've ever seen?

But those are both by choice, and the colors at least are easily changable. Renaming your account, on the other hand, takes 15 bucks. So maybe that's it.

That's why you don't pick usernames you don't want to get stuck with.

Perhaps everytime she moves to change the layout, she gets distracted by the dancing panda and forgets what she meant to do? *laughs* She was just sort of rambling on, and that's what made it funny.

Points out that I am an AOL user, most unfortunately. Stupid damn summertime AOL... and also, I often type without capitalization, but I spell correctly and use correct grammar. So where do I fall on the scale of idiocy? :)

As for myself, I don't take points away for being an aol user. :P

I don't think capitalization is as important as correct spelling and grammar. At least when you don't capitalize, people can still understand what you're saying. :P

well, that killed me. you mentioned me later, but, yeah. i don't think you really want to hang out with me. you never mention it on your own, and anytime i do, you don't seem to thrilled. so, yeah. i hope you have a good summer.

tara came in or i'd write more.

::points out:: Not to get involved in the middle of this, but specifically, I think it was a reference on a plan that the three of had made, to paint the town red, something of a joke.

::grin:: You are more than welcome to come along and paint, just make sure you wear crappy clothes. Or, um... dress in drag?

nah. it wasn't just that. it was just somewhere i could vocalize it.

and i'm not really welcome to come along for several reasons. one, i'd probably end up being highly uncomfortable becaus eyou guys all know each other and i don't really know you or erin very well, and i end up quiet when i'm with people i don't know well. plus the fact i don't think he really wants me along anymore, and the fact that you all seem to plan to do this at night and my dad gets pissed if i'm out past like ten.so he's often pissed.

so, yeah.

Whee for stuff.

I hope you make it here for my birthday party in June.

I had a blast at the end-part of this year with you. Looking forward to another one!

Just don't paint it blue or orange. If you do that, one half of town will kill you, and what fun would that be? =)

I'll paint it orange, damn it. The North Stars can go to hell.

Oh, a note about the North Stars.

"St. Charles North North Stars" is their official name. Um...redundant. Plus, they just spent something like $200 bucks on detachable eyebrows for their mascot...insane.

We, on the other hand, took five months to get a new lightbulb put in the "room" between the band room and the fine arts hallway.

<3 Saints.

Good luck, even though it's too late!
