This morning, I found street parking in Back Bay.

Right next to a McDonalds, and across from the Dunkies I wanted to be at.

Right by Mass Ave.

Oh, and since the meter was out of order... I didn't even have to pay.

Oh, and it was a couple spaces in a row, so I didn't even have to parallel park.

I swear, it must be a cold day in Hell today.

I'm in hell now. It's moderate to cool.

This is why I could never live in a city.

I get annoyed when the level of the parking garage in downtown STC I enter is full...

It's a special case that I want to drive anywhere though -- in the suburbs, you walk as far in a parking lot as I do to get to the grocery store.

We're a bit off the main drag, so it's not quite the same, but if you're leaving the house, you usually walk. If I want donuts, I'd usually just wander on down to Central Square, but I had to drop Emmy off at work because the subway was busted this morning. *shrug*

It's really a different world, and hard to compare, but parking just isn't something that matters most of the time.
