Made it back to boston safely. I wonder why it is that they say airplanes taxi... Isn't that what the cab is for?

*groan.* I hope that was a joke, but if not, then taxi refers to the time the airplane is moving on the ground, when it is essentially a great big taxi -- you'll actually hear commercial airline pilots refer to their planes as buses a lot, and never more so than when they're on the ground...
